Frequently asked questions

  • How does the warranty work?

    During the rental period, the customer will pay a guarantee between 200-1000 euros. The guarantee serves to cover damages caused to the vehicle or the loss of its documents due to the customer's fault and will be fully refunded if the vehicle is returned without damage.
    No guarantee upon pickup
    A non-refundable deposit of 40 Euro/day will be paid instead of the 500 euro guarantee upon pickup.

  • How does the insurance work?

    The car has Casco insurance against accidents and theft, which is valid in the European Union and Switzerland. The validity can be extended at the client's request for an additional fee. The insurance is not valid in the following cases:
    1. Damage to the lower part of the car due to the tenant's negligence
    2. Damage to rims or tires not caused by an accident
    3. Driving the car by a person other than the one specified in the contract
    4. Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, etc.

  • What is the procedure in case of damage?

    The customer will bear all damages caused by their fault if they do not present a report from the police or if the events do not fall within the legal provisions to benefit from insurance. In this case, the customer will additionally pay the equivalent of the rental for the period in which the vehicle is unavailable.

  • Who can drive the car?

    The vehicle may only be used by persons named in this contract, who are at least 21 years old and have held a driving license for at least one year.

  • What are the obligations of the parties?

    The customer has the obligation
    1. to operate the rented vehicle in good faith, avoiding its degradation or destruction
    2. to request the written agreement of the owner if he wishes to leave Romania with the rented car
    3. if the customer leaves Romania, to ensure that the vehicle has all the purchased vignettes
    4. not to perform any repairs or modifications to the vehicle without the owner's consent
    5. not to transport people, cigarettes or prohibited substances.
    6. not to tow another vehicle
    7. not to use the vehicle in competitions
    8. not to leave the key in the ignition, the door/window open
    9. to return the car clean and with a full tank

    The owner has the obligation:
    1. to hand over the vehicle in good working order and without hidden defects
    2. to ensure the use of the vehicle for the entire duration of the contract
    3. to guarantee the tenant against eviction resulting from his actions or the actions of third parties, as well as for defects that make the vehicle unsuitable for its intended use
    4. to hand over the car clean and with a full tank

  • Extra fees and rental duration

    1. If the number of km included in the tariff is exceeded, i.e. 300 km/day, a fee of 50 euros/100km traveled will be charged.
    2. In the case of renting the vehicle with a driver, a fee of 50 euros/day will be paid, and if the rental lasts more than one day, the customer will also bear the expenses related to the driver's per diem and accommodation.
    3. The rental period starts from the time the vehicle is handed over to the customer if the customer picks up the car from Satu Mare, respectively the time of departure from Satu Mare if the car is handed over in another location. A delay of maximum 2 hours is allowed when handing over the car; larger delays will result in the extension of the rental by another 24 hours. The rental period can be extended by telephone for a maximum of 24 hours. If the contract is to be extended beyond this limit, the customer or a delegate thereof will appear in order to modify the contract and pay the difference in the rental fee
    4. The customer agrees to pay all contraventions related to parking or traffic on public roads committed with the rented car. In case of damage to the vehicle due to his fault, he agrees that the owner retains the guarantee.
