Hereinafter, the company will be referred to as “the Provider” or “the Operator”, and the website as “the Site”.
The individual user who accesses the Site or makes a reservation will be referred to as “the Customer” or “the User”.

2. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By accessing and using the Site, as well as by making an online reservation/payment, you declare that:

  • you have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions,
  • you agree with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are an integral part of this document.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Site.

3. Subject of the contract
The rentacarsatumare.com site allows:

  • browsing the offer of vehicles available for rent,
  • making reservations for the chosen period,
  • online payment for rental services through Netopia Payments.

The rental contract is considered concluded between the Provider and Customer at the moment of:

  1. completing the reservation on the Site and
  2. confirming the payment/reservation through an email sent by the Provider on a durable medium (confirmation email).

4. General conditions for using the Site
4.1. To use the Site and make a reservation, you must cumulatively meet, on the date of car pickup:

  • minimum age [e.g.: 21] years (or according to the company’s internal policies),
  • valid driving license for at least 1 year, issued by a competent authority and recognized in Romania,
  • meeting payment and guarantee requirements (where applicable).

4.2. The User undertakes:

  • not to use the Site for illegal or fraudulent purposes;
  • to provide only real, accurate and updated data;
  • not to attempt unauthorized access to the Provider’s computer systems.

5. Services offered
5.1. The Provider offers car rental services for personal or business use, for specific periods, under the conditions displayed on the Site.
5.2. The characteristics of each vehicle (class, gearbox type, fuel, included equipment) are displayed on the presentation page. Photos may be indicative.
5.3. The Provider reserves the right to modify the range of available vehicles at any time, without prior notification, with changes applying only to future reservations.

6. Reservation procedure
To make a reservation:

  1. choose the pickup/drop-off location and period;
  2. select the desired vehicle and any additional options (insurance, extra driver, child seat, etc.);
  3. enter contact and billing details;
  4. check that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy;
  5. make online payment through Netopia Payments;
  6. receive a reservation confirmation email.

By completing the order, you declare that all provided data is correct and real.

7. Prices and payment methods
7.1. Prices displayed on the Site are expressed in euros (EUR) and include VAT, unless otherwise specified.
7.2. The Provider reserves the right to modify rates at any time, without notification, but the applicable rate is the one displayed at the time of making the reservation.
7.3. The only online payment method is through Netopia Payments, using a bank card or other methods made available by this processor.
7.4. At the time of payment, you will be redirected to Netopia Payments’ secure page.

7.5. The transaction is considered successfully completed upon confirmation by Netopia Payments.

8. Cancellation, modification and no-show policy
8.1. Specific conditions for cancellation and modification of the reservation (deadline for cancellation, possible fees) are displayed on the Site during the reservation process and in the confirmation email.
8.2. In the absence of special conditions displayed, the following standard rules apply:

  • cancellation at least 48 hours before pickup time: full refund of the amount paid;
  • cancellation less than 48 hours before: the paid amount is not refunded;
  • no-show without prior cancellation: the paid amount is not refunded.

8.3. Reservation modification (date/time/vehicle category) is possible subject to availability and may involve rate recalculation.

9. No right of withdrawal (car rental)
In accordance with art. 16 lit. l of OUG 34/2014, you do not benefit from the legal right of withdrawal of 14 days in the case of contracts regarding car rental, when the contract provides for a specific execution date or period (the rental period chosen by you). Sintact+1
This means that, after reservation confirmation, cancellation and refund are possible only under the conditions in section 8.

10. Use of data for commercial communications (marketing)
10.1. By completing the reservation and providing your email address and/or phone number, you understand that:

  • we will use this data both for reservation-related communications (confirmations, notifications, invoices),
  • as well as to occasionally send you offers and promotions for similar services (car rental, related services), based on our legitimate interest and legislation regarding commercial communications.

10.2. In accordance with Law 506/2004, you will always have the possibility to object to the use of data for marketing:

  • through the “unsubscribe” link in each email or by sending a request to [edmeearent@gmail.com/+40 722 610 682]. Sintact

10.3. Refusing to receive marketing communications does not affect the possibility of making reservations or contractual conditions.

11. Liability
11.1. The Provider cannot be held responsible for:

  • incorrect use of the Site by the User;
  • temporary unavailability of the Site caused by technical factors;
  • indirect losses (unrealized profit, missed opportunities, etc.), to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11.2. The Customer is responsible for:

  • the correctness of data entered at the time of reservation;
  • compliance with vehicle use conditions according to the rental contract signed at pickup.

12. Intellectual property
The Site content (texts, logo, graphic elements, images, structure, code) is the property of the Provider or is used under license, and is protected by copyright legislation and other intellectual property rights.
Copying, distributing, modifying or publishing content without the Provider’s prior written consent is prohibited.

13. Dispute resolution
13.1. Any misunderstanding between Provider and Customer will be attempted to be resolved amicably, by email at edmeearent@gmail.com.
13.2. If an amicable solution is not reached, disputes will be resolved by competent courts in Romania, usually those at the Provider’s headquarters.
13.3. The Customer has the right to also address:

  • the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC),
  • an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity, respectively through the European ODR platform for online resolution of cross-border disputes.

14. Modification of Terms and Conditions
The Provider reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be published on the Site, indicating the date of the last update and will apply to reservations subsequent to that date.
